My name is Morgan Cheatham, and I've been working in the world of sports media and communications in some capacity for about six years. I started my journey as a Sports Information Student Assistant at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland. While there, I worked with our game day statistics and broadcasting staff through three of my four years as an undergrad. I balanced the rest of my time as a student-athlete on the Men's Track & Field team for all four years before graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2019.

Following my time at Stevenson, I took on a two-year graduate assistant position at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland in pursuit of my Master's Degree in Athletic Program Leadership & Administration. I was blessed with two graduate assistant roles as both an Athletic Communications Assistant and Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Coach. I helped manage game day statistics, social media content, graphic design, photography, and videography for all of our NCAA sanctioned sports. I was also in charge of our Men's and Women's Track & Field sprints team, handling our social media, photo, and video content throughout the season.

After graduating in 2022, I accepted an opportunity at Stanislaus State in Turlock, California as a Sports Information Assistant. While there, I was in charge of athletic communications for our 14 NCAA sports. I provided graphic design, social media, photography, videography, game day statistics, and website management for nearly every sport at the institution.

I am currently the Assistant Director of Digital Strategy & Broadcast at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Here, I handle videography, photography, and graphic design services to the athletic program, while also serving as the liaison between our broadcast team and ESPN+, Big Ten Plus (B1G+), and other online streaming services.

In my spare time, I love taking on freelance opportunities in the realm of graphic design, videography, photography, and many other creative services. Feel free to contact me for projects any you may have in mind!
